I recently boarded my horse at Premier Pastures while he was in training with Kalie Beckers and I can honestly say the facility, trainer, owners and staff were all FIRST CLASS. The grounds are breathtaking and everything is so well kept. My horse was given excellent care and I am so pleased with the results of his training with Kalie. I highly recommend Premier Pastures to anyone looking for beautiful grounds, top notch facilities, amazing owners and an extremely talented trainer.

I was nervous about sending my young horse away from home to enter training, but Premier Pastures and Kalie Beckers have exceeded all of my expectations. The facility is absolutely gorgeous, and I can’t say enough good things about the team’s attention to detail, level of care, and access to some of the top farrier-chiropractic-massage professionals in Louisiana. Kalie Beckers has transformed my “surly teenager” into a talented young horse and I truly enjoy seeing how much stronger and more supple my mare has gotten every single time I visit. I started off concerned about sending my mare away, but now I am more worried that she won’t ever want to leave!

Premier Pastures of Louisiana is heaven on earth for horses and their owners.  The atmosphere is relaxing, supportive, and the horses get excellent care.  The barn, dressage arena, and grounds are truly exceptional.  But, as incredible as the facility is, the people are the true treasure at Premier Pastures.  Owners Kristen and Scott Dowdy, dressage trainer Kalie Beckers, and jump trainer Ginny Harrison could not be more welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. With patience and clarity, Kalie and Ginny have helped my daughter develop awareness and understanding at a manageable pace. They take the time to provide visualizations that simplify what the rider should be doing so that you may focus on what you're feeling.  Kalie and Ginny have such a gift in articulating specifically to each rider how to make the corrections in their body position that will result in positive feedback from the horse. Both are wonderfully adept, knowledgeable and empathetic teachers who pitch their teaching so that it is both challenging but encouraging and enabling.  I've see my daughters technique, connection, and harmony as a rider improve under their guidance.  If you're looking to take your training to the next level then Premier Pastures is the barn for you!

Premier Pastures is the equestrian center for competition driven riders, that want premium service!  The owners of the facility are detail driven and family oriented which make for a fabulous facility.  The trainers detail the training to each rider and their goals and horse's abilities. When your daughter leaves a dressage lesson feeling like a million bucks, you know you're training in the right spot.
